Yellow Pages gets closer to using QR Code (maybe)

The competition for advertising creative teams, run by Yellow Pages New Zealand, has been won by an entry using QR codes in the phone book. Regular readers will remember we suggested this last year (Yellow Pages QR Codes) but the competion’s winning entry (.pdf) has fleshed out the idea somewhat and we wait to see when it will become a reality.

  1. Having trouble getting this to scan.

Also, Do they still need such a heavy book then? How about just a postcard- they’d save a LOT of money ( assuming that enough people have smartphones ).

    Cool concept though.
