QR Code DNA Art

Ottawa’s all night public arts and culture extravaganza (Nuit Blanche) included a digital sign outside the Ottawa School of Art displaying a rapid sequence of QR Codes. Each code resolved to a snippet of the human genome at the rate of 15 QR Codes per second. For the duration of the project (one night) 1.2% of the complete genome was encoded and displayed by the QR Codes.
