A national survey of 2,000+ U.S. vehicle owners conducted by DMEautomotive showed that 18% had scanned a QR Code. When asked where these scans took them (i.e. how they interacted with QR codes) the top three responses were; Obtain additional product information (44%), Open a webpage link (44%) and Receive coupons or discount (36%) (chart below). Auto service customers also reported on what they actually most desire from dealership/service provider QR codes. The top three demands were 1. Coupons/discounts, 2. Current store promotions, 3. Ability to schedule online appointments.
