World Record QR Code Cake
Yesterday Beijing shopping mall ‘Raffles City’ was the site of a new Guinness World Record for a QR Code cake. The cake covered an area of 387.5 square feet and weighed 3 tons. Scanning the QR Code download a news service app from Chinese company Tencent (the third largest Internet company in the world after Google and Amazon) who were sponsoring the event. Edible QR Codes are of course not new, neither are QR Code cakes but Tencent’s is in a different league. (Images © http://www.news.cn/)
