Wickd are selling a range of T-shirts with a ShotCode logo on the back. The proprietary two dimensional barcode is unique for every product and is linked to the user. You can link your code to any url such as your own mobile site, your MySpace or Facebook homepage etc. If you use your Wickd profile you can even exchange private messages. The only negative is that ShotCode, unlike QR code, is not open source and is not so widely used internationally.

What good is the application then if it cannot be used where ever you go?
Diamondback - ShotCode can be decoded free of charge but to make one you have to come to a commercial arrangement with them.
Hi Roger, thanks for the correction. Yesterday we silently launched www.shotcode.org where free codes can be created.
FYI.
short codes here in the states are a totally different thing. they are a 4 digit numbers that you can lease from the carriers so that people can quick dial or txt. you, we use them in mobile campaigns a lot.
sorry forgot to make my point, the term short and shot are so similar it may cause problems when and if you come to the states.
