Earlier this year camouflaged prototypes of the new Volkswagen Up! were driven around major German cities with a QR Code livery (video with English subtitles below). The QR Code resolved to a mobile site where you could register for more pictures and videos of this new city car, although registration and video have recently been removed. This campaign ran almost simultaneously with the new Mercedes A-Class road test vehicles also in a QR Code livery.
