If you are a Tourism Bureau this may be a fun idea worth thinking about. SunExpress (jointly owned by Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa) is running a QR Code scavenger hunt in Istanbul (images below). Under the title “Crack the Code” the QR Code posters are displayed in cafes, restaurants and shops around Istanbul’s main attractions. Six different QR Codes are encoded with a letter and the six letters together form a word which is required to enter the competition. First prize is two airline tickets, two nights at a 4-star hotel and an exclusive helicopter tour.
