Robot Child Minder Reads QR Code
A ‘Kid’s Club’ at the Japanese Aeon shopping mall has employed the services of a QR Code reading robot. The robot reads the QR Code embedded in the Kid’s Club membership badges and remembers their names and birthdays. Robot Watch reports that the robot also speaks, has a video projector mounted in its left eye and can communicate via mobile phone.
