India’s First QR Code Shopping Wall
India’s first QR Code virtual shopping wall has opened in Terminal 3 of New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (image below). Online and on-air retail marketing and distribution company HomeShop18 calls the venture ‘Scan N Shop’ and currently displays QR Codes for clothing, fashion jewellery, consumer electronics, perfumes and mobiles. HomeShop18 are hoping that the terminals 45,000 passengers departing daily will make use of what for them will be a new mobile shopping format from a household name company.
