World Record QR Code Attempt

On Saturday June 16, 2012 1,400 people will gather at Esther Shiner Stadium in North York (Toronto, ON) to build the world’s largest QR Code to support the work of Youth Unlimited North York. You can help Youth Unlimited build the code by owning and holding your own square or sponsoring a square. The current world record QR Code stands at 15,625 square feet by Air Fest, also in Canada.

  1. Do any of these stunt campaigns yield long term loyalty per the experience. Maybe for the people who show up I guess – but … we get into this odd space of creating a QR code that is not meant to be scanned, only to serve as content to be syndicated on the internet.

    Sensationalism.
