QR Code Airport Checkpoint Signs

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration recently announced the trial of QR Code airport checkpoint signs, now they have been spotted in the wild by 2d-code reader Fred Trotter (images below) at San Jose, Silicon Valley’s Airport. The QR Codes use the Google URL shortener and resolve to the relevant pages on the tsa.gov website. Unfortunately the pages are not mobilized and as this is a .gov desktop website that will mean passengers scrolling in acres of text and not finding what they are looking for.
