Last year’s introduction of QR Codes by the New York City Department of Buildings on all building permits must have been a success. Yesterday New York City Council unanimously passed a bill that requires every city agency that issues permits, licenses and registrations to include a QR Code. This applies to permits, licenses and registrations that are currently required to be posted conspicuously and will cover everything from restaurants to tattoo parlours.
