Lufthansa uses Aztec Code for paperless boarding.

Lufthansa passengers flying from Hamburg to Frankfurt or Munich can use a mobile boarding pass service. The pass is sent direct to their mobile via email or SMS. Passengers with only hand luggage proceed straight to the security checkpoint and to the gate, where the Aztec Code on their mobile boarding pass is read by a scanner. Roll out to other domestic routes follows throughout the summer. (Press Release)
