QR Code Headphones Decorate Bus Shelter

Giant pairs of QR Coded headphones have been placed on bus shelters in Toronto and Halifax by Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) as part of their ‘Recharge with Milk’ program, dedicated to educating athletes about the post-workout recovery benefits of chocolate milk. The QR codes allow consumers to download free workout music with the Recharge Radio app and customize playlists to suit the workout. DFC may have missed a trick in that the headphones are passive. I think that QR Code controlled live music in a bus shelter as provided in Sydney earlier this year would have made an effective addition to the campaign.
