Datamatrix Codes on Medicines?
Medical News Today is reporting that pharmaceutical industry leaders have called for strong EU measures to combat counterfeit medicines. Plans for a pilot scheme using Datamatrix Codes which will enable pharmacists to verify each medicine pack before dispensing it to the patient are being considered and may become an EU standard.
