QR Codes in Central Park

New York’s Central Park will have a QR Code interactive board game during Arbor Day Weekend, April 30 to May 1, 2010. On the day of the event visitors will receive a map of a an interactive tour of the park showing the location of ‘Parkodes’ (image below). Scanning the QR Code will reveal a question relating to its exact location, for example near the bandshell “Which well-known orchestra plays here at the Bandshell?” and a link will takes users to the answer.

  1. Too bad they didn’t make this more conversational/interactive, so that Users could Reply with answers and determine if they were right? Companies providing conversational NLP with text messaging could have done this easily.
