A QR Code Link with the Past

Billie Bond sent a picture (below) of her new polished black ceramic sculpture ‘A Link with the Past’ incorporating a QR Code made from 1400+ 3mm ceramic tiles. The sculpture depicts a modern young mother (smartphone clutched in hand) stylised as an Egyptian deity while the QR Code resolves to a page on Billie’s website which explains the sculpture and the message behind it.

  2. each tile is 3mm, and the whole QR code took 8 hours to assemble, there is another one the other side. I think there is over 1400 tiles on each code.
