American Airlines goes for Aztec Code

Following IATA’s announcement of a global standard for mobile phone check-in using 2d bar codes, American Airlines has introduced mobile boarding passes using the Aztec Code. Passengers on outbound domestic flights from Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles and John Wayne now have the option to have their boarding pass sent directly to their mobile phone or other mobile device.
